Payment

At Kitekollektivet you can pay with Mobilepay or cash. Payment will be made in connection with the booking of our courses. All amounts are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. Reservations are made for price errors.

Cancellation of courses

If you book a course at a desired time during a period, you are reserving a date and a time, which will block other possible bookings. If you are unable to attend your booking, you must notify us as soon as possible so that we can fill your place. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of the course, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the course price as a fee. If you do not show up for the course at all, we charge 100% of the course price - however, this has rarely been used. We reserve the right to cancel and rebook according to weather conditions. weather conditions - you will always be notified by email.

Delivery of training courses

On our courses, we provide a wind guarantee. This means that we will of course only run your course as long as wind and weather conditions allow. Should the weather forecasts fail, we will of course agree on a new date where your course will be held. The wind guarantee applies if WE assess that the conditions on the desired day will not work for the chosen activity. It is at all times our call whether the weather will work or not. Likewise, changing weather conditions during the course can occur and here it is always our responsibility as instructors to decide whether the course should continue or stop. With us, we always settle up to the first full hour and the remaining time can either be transferred to a new date by agreement or refunded if desired. For example: if half of the course is completed, half of the money can be refunded or the hours can be transferred to a new date.

If students wish to use their own equipment, we always reserve the right to refuse the use of the equipment if our instructor deems that it does not meet current safety standards. We put safety as our first priority and we refuse, for example, to teach with kite equipment that is 5 years old, as safety has improved significantly since then. When you book a course with us, all equipment is included in the price, so there is no need to use your own equipment.

Insurance and liability

When you are on a course at Kitekollektivet , our insurance covers third parties in case you are unfortunate enough to hit others with the equipment.

Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover you and it is therefore important that you check if you have an insurance that covers yourself in case of injury/accident. We are very safety conscious, but recommend that you check with your insurance before you go on a course. Still not all insurance companies cover kitesurfing in a regular accident insurance policy, as it can fall under extreme sports.

Participants should also read and accept the Danish Sailing Union's standard registration for kitesurfing lessons. We reserve the right to reject a participant for participation if it is assessed that the participant is not able to participate in the course.
